[Bug 18400] New: The program FlatOut2.exe has encountered serious problem...
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18400 Summary: The program FlatOut2.exe has encountered serious problem... Product: Wine Version: 1.1.20 Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: ape3000(a)gmail.com When I updated from 1.1.18 to 1.1.20 a new minor bug appeared. It still exists in 1.1.21. When I start FlatOut 2 it says "The program FlatOut2.exe has encountered serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. But when I click "Close" the game starts and everything is working perfectly. This error seems to be a false alarm. Wine thinks the game crashed, but really it didn't. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Do you know which component it uses? That could really speed up the testing. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18400 --- Comment #5 from Lauri Niskanen <ape3000(a)gmail.com> 2009-05-09 01:46:03 --- I did some testing and found out information. The dialog doesn't show up, if I remove the "[1e256e426df84b6ba00a4c360f355b3809a72b9f] winedbg: Add a crash dialog for --auto mode." patch from 1.1.20. But since I see the crash message on console also without the dialog the problem isn't really caused by that patch. It notifies me about the crash I hadn't notice before. Remember that the game works perfectly. So the crash doesn't affect the main program. I attached the crash output. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Thanks, a +relay,+seh,+tid log might help show what occurs in that thread before the crash, compress with lzma if it's big. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I couldn't get the relay log. The game didn't start at all, if I tried to get it. Here is the log with seh and tid.
nevermind then, without relay that doesn't mean much. the seh is an indicator of where to look in the relay log and the tid lets you focus on just the thread that the exception occurs in. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
