When you launch the program under wine on my notebook, my operating system is
crashing (stoping). Startup programs: Download Master ver 5.5.7.1145;
OrbitDownloader .. 

And also incorrectly displays some graphic ellementy (icons, control
ellementy). 

Distiributiv: Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid 
Wine: 1.0.1; 1.0.11; 1.0.12 

Hadware: RoverBook w500 
CPU: Via C7-M 
Integrated graphics card: S3G-Unichrome-Pro (VN800) 
RAM: 512mb

Wine doesn't cause your system to crash, drivers - usually video drivers do. 
File a bug with your distro.
