You should install .Net 2.0 via winetricks first, then install the game. Now it works for me, but I get sounds only when ALSA is set to 'Emulation' (audio is still choppy), but that's another issue... The game uses the MS XNA Framework which depends on the .Net 2.x components. You should install .Net 2.0 via winetricks first, then install the game. Now it works for me, but I get sounds only when ALSA is set to 'Emulation' (audio is still choppy), but that's another issue...

Wouldn't that make this invalid? Likely.
I assume there is no way for Wine do detect the need for .NET and ask the user to install it? Try this and consider creating another bug if that fails to start. I am not sure about the asking to install .NET or Mono but Mono is generally prefered. Maybe this will be just like Gecko but is Mono a replacement of ALL of the entire .NET framework? (In reply to comment #3)
