[Bug 15451] New: King's Bounty crashes with recursive error in trace:seh:call_stack_handlers
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15451 Summary: King's Bounty crashes with recursive error in trace:seh:call_stack_handlers Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: kjella79(a)yahoo.no Created an attachment (id=16343) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=16343) Trace output from console King's Bounty will often crash on entering combat with a stack overflow. Turning on trace of the seh module, you can see that call_stack_handlers is called once, then twice, then three times, then four, then five, then six until finally it crashes with a stack overflow. The attached output is cut before that happens (produced many 100MBs before it crashes), but you see where it's going. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15451 --- Comment #2 from kjella79(a)yahoo.no 2008-09-29 06:05:54 --- It's a GIT clone from yesterday (2008-09-28). Also same against 1.1.5 release. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15451 --- Comment #3 from kjella79(a)yahoo.no 2008-10-25 10:00:02 --- Problem persists in WINE 1.1.7, most likely there's some sort of battlefield item WINE doesn't handle correctly because a) It never happens in tutorial, which has its own battlegrounds b) It happens randomly out on the play area, but works on restart/load c) Certain "fixed" battles don't work at all My theory is that there is some object/texture/whatever that can happen on random battlefields => random crashes. On "fixed" battles the element is always present, so always crashes. I haven't really gotten any further studying the logs. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
