https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47819 --- Comment #2 from Rafał Mużyło <galtgendo(a)o2.pl> --- The problem here seems to be that wine seems to be asking for fonts in two ways. One goes through fontconfig matching, the other needs an explicit Replacements entry. 'corefonts' 'fix' the second one, but perhaps something could be done for at least the standard ones (ones installed with Windows) to go through fontconfig too ? After all, at least wrt. latin fonts, the replacements are a standard part of fontconfig's config. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Issue:11273: [Gramps AIO] GUI has no text (Text and icons replaced by little boxes) https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=11273 With the Developer who packages the Windows All in one installer saying: '''''''''' Recent versions of Gramps AIO (>=5.1.1) are using a slightly patched version of fontconfig. Fontconfig was having problems on some Windows machines in scanning for fonts. When it failed, it would be unable to display fonts. Usually a reboot and reinstall of Gramps would fix it. The newer AIO tries to fix this by making a more robust update of the fontconfig cache. It seems to be working better and I have been getting no recent complaints. According to the bug above, the issue is fixed. I'm going to close the issue now. A new problem with the most recent Gramps has arisen, though: The program contains only empty windows, but I'll file a new bug for that. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
