I wrote it in the title but not in the message: The configure script does not check the presence of libXext headers. The configure script already checks the presence of other missing header files for X, but not these needed ones. All libraries which were marked as obligated by the configure script were installed. And it should be, when installing this library wine compiles flawlessly.
