[Bug 11263] New: Counter-Strike does not run under PC-BSD

Under PC-BSD versions 1.4 , 1.4.1 and 1.4.1.1 Counter-Strike does not run.

The game starts in menu mode, connects to servers, but reports error that it
cannot locate necessary files such as models etc. The same installation works
well under Linux. The game also runs normally in Half-Life mode.

I'll mark it as abandoned then. If you happen to try PC-BSD and Counter strike
again and have problems, reopen.

It seems you tend to close every bug even not resolved. I think anybody with CS
can test if this works in modern versions of Wine? or do you require the people
to stay with their old operating system until the bug is resolved?

There are several thousand open bugs. We close bugs as abandoned that have not
provided needed information for several months, and have no download to test
with. Since you can't test this, I closed it, but if you can test it, please
feel free to reopen.
