[Bug 11878] New: HyperChem 8 (Student Edition) product activation fails
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11878 Summary: HyperChem 8 (Student Edition) product activation fails Product: Wine Version: 0.9.56. Platform: PC-x86-64 URL: http://www.hyper.com OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: sirjasonr(a)gmail.com HyperChem 8 (Student Edition) cannot generate a hardware-specific "locking code" which would normally be sent to the vendor for generation of an activation code. The program does not crash, but it simply returns "0-0" as the locking code which indicates that wine cannot accesss the areas of the system that would normally return unique serial numbers from which the locking code would be generated. The program uses SentinelLM code for it's licensing platform. How do I narrow down which devices/files the program is trying to obtain data from? Go here for some application screenshots (although they're probably not useful) http://picasaweb.google.com/sirjasonr/UntitledAlbum -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11878 --- Comment #1 from Jason Rigby <sirjasonr(a)gmail.com> 2008-03-07 01:41:50 --- Created an attachment (id=11166) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=11166) wine debugging output The following bzip2 archive contains output from wine up until the "0-0" locking code is displayed. The debugging output was obtained using WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid. The text file is quite long at 3mb after decompression and so probably contains a lot of irrelevant information. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
