The bug with combined text is *not* visibile in notepad (though matra combined text has a new bug) but the issue is still there in wordpad. I applied the patches usp-edit1.patch and usp-edit2.patch to wine-git. The bug with combined text is *not* visibile in notepad (though matra combined text has a new bug) but the issue is still there in wordpad.

Thanks, So combining characters is improved. I will look into mantras. Do not file any new bugs yet as these are testing patches.
