Steam could be installed, when trying to launch the RagDoll KungFu, it fails most of the time. Additionally I am not pretty sure about the compiz, i.e. if it is installed, or not, resp. disabled or not. Seems to be that the Explorer from the Steam is launched, and the screenplay is displayed over this explorer but still attracts all mouse-events and inputs.
