[Bug 28636] New: Imvu chat client will not start.

As soon as you sign in, an error pops up, stating that a critical error involving ''Devicefingerprint_old.exe''has occured. Then, the imvu logo remains on teh top bar in Ubuntu 11.10, but will not open the main window. I left it like this for an entire night (about 9 hours) and it did not open, so it is not a matter of slow loading. Also, i tried setting the installer, client exe and quality agent to run on different versions of windows, none of which helped. i also tried changing the d3dx9_43 library to wine only. Nothing worked. Previous versions of IMVU simply crash before the login window. I've tried different versions, but for now this seems to keep happening. Please help! With current git, I'm not seeing this; instead, it hangs as in bug 27462.
I get the error from the bug, then it hangs. The older version no longer connects to the service (tested with 467), current version 530 works fine (login, avatar, chat).
