I tested this from surely the last 2 releases of Wine with emule versions 0.46a 
and 0.45b. 

The output in the console is:

fixme:winsock:NtStatusToWSAError Status code c000011f converted to DOS error 
code 4

code 4
fixme:winsock:NtStatusToWSAError Status code c000011f converted to DOS error 
code 4
...

then eMule chashes with the following error:

wine client error:9: no fd received for handle 67176 (or another number)

This is my first bug (?) submitted. If you need more details i'm here...
