[Bug 17743] New: Undocked toolbars are displayed incorrectly
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17743 Summary: Undocked toolbars are displayed incorrectly Product: Wine Version: 1.0.1 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: lukasz.wojnilowicz(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=19959) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=19959) Text toolbar I'm using Wine 1.1.17 (compiled from source using gcc version 4.3.2 20081105 (Red Hat 4.3.2-7) ) on Fedora 10 i386. The problem is with undocked toolbars which are incorrectly displayed. The problem is also with dragging them. They should be also draggable when I click and hold mouse pointer over title of the toolbar. Problem exists in AutoCAD 2008 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2008. I attached image that shows the problem. All cuttings were done with unchecked option "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows". Last cutting was done in MS Windows XP running AutoCAD 2007. The problem exists also in Wine 1.0.1 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

This one is not as bad as "it doesn't work" but still ... It enhances the chance of not being ignored/filtered out by Bugzilla queries (hint: people tend to query for application name/class). https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17743 cycad <bugs.winehq.org.slacker586(a)passinbox.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bugs.winehq.org.slacker586@ | |passinbox.com --- Comment #16 from cycad <bugs.winehq.org.slacker586(a)passinbox.com> --- Still an issue wine 10.2 (10.2-2 from arch repos). i'm using kwin 6.3 wayland session, and it happens with both the x11 and wayland driver. note that i'm using autocad 2002, which is linked to this bug. The first time you undock a toolbar it always lays out the buttons horizontally. The height of the toolbar is 32px, but it renders 16px down from where it should be, so it is cut off halfway. It is still a 16px offset if you resize the floating toolbar to be vertical / rectangular then dock and undock. It is still a 16px offset with the 2x scaling option, even after restarting the program. If you close the main window while a toolbar is floating, it will remain floating and keep its horizontal/vertical layout when you open the program the next time. Even so, the floating toolbar renders with a 16px offset. would it be helpful to include more logs? which modules? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
