[Bug 15460] New: blocky shadow-like model edges in Sid Meier's Pirates!

This problem is especially noticeable during movement of the human models. This is on Ubuntu Hardy x86 32 bit with an nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (G92 chip), with nVidia driver 169.12. The problem did not go away when I disabled pixel shaders. Characters appear without those annoying artefacts around them, when advanced lighting option is enabled. Fixed by http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/a04f0e9c789295c22aab6e0d3b3239d... Please re-test the game with 1.3.27 or newer, and report back what you find. Looks like this is fixed. The blocky textures are gone for me using these:
wine1.3 1.3.28-0ubuntu1~ppa1 nvidia-current 270.41.06-0ubuntu1
