Although I'm on Arch Linux and using a newer Nvidia driver (590.48.01) I can reproduce the issue with the mentioned games, but it happens only under XWayland. The workaround for me under XWayland is to append the following environment variable to the command line: __EGL_VENDOR_LIBRARY_FILENAMES= Note the empty string in the variable.
