I've managed to play this game on the Windows partition with no issues. I attached a console log. SYMPTOMS -Upon startup it plays 1 second of the EA intro video and then the screen turns black -"Masseffect3config.exe" does open but I noticed that it displays a different display adapter than is installed ATTEMPTED FIXES -Tried changing drivers with no effect -Deleted "Local_Profile.sav" file w/ 0kb from the Save directory -Booted in Gnome and 2D mode -Tried w/ wine 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5.7 SYSTEM SPECS Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 2x Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6500 @ 2.10GHz ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series HDA-Intel - HDA ATI HDMI Thanks for reading. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Moreover, you said it used to be working, but when you tried again with wine 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, it is not working anymore. That means that your setup becomes broken. Oh no. I am not currently using windows. I have played this game on the windows partition on this laptop before and it did work. Now I am using Linux with wine and the game is not working. The "storage" partition doesnt have an os installed - it's just open space I use to insert media from both Oss. You didn't install it under wine, but under windows. Registry entries/other files in the file system/etc. may be missing. It's an unsupported configuration.
