My console shows the same output, including it stating that it's an ole error. In a sense, it still is an ole bug because it's a directdraw7 OBJECT. Just curious, does blue wish resurrection require vc++ runtime distributables? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9913 --- Comment #8 from Brian Wilton <ruffbillion(a)yahoo.com> 2008-02-02 12:13:38 --- RosenkreuzStilette (http://kurotama.sakura.ne.jp/product/rks/top.html) seems to hit this same bug. Pops the program windows, and dies. When running on my XP boot, I needed to enable Japanese fonts (not having them produced buggy text, but didn't crash the game), but aside from that, it ran perfectly. Those other two games are Japanese, too- Maybe it really is a font thing. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9913 --- Comment #9 from Joey Chan <ttdlx1989(a)yahoo.com> 2008-02-04 17:50:55 --- Not likely. I don't believe DirectX is tied into the locale system. In terms of fonts, I already set it up to use Japanese locales. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9913 --- Comment #11 from Philip Nilsson <leffeman(a)gmail.com> 2008-02-10 13:24:19 --- Created an attachment (id=10707) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=10707) Register the DirectDraw 7 Object Hm, I think this has been fixed by commit 8bbb3d68e1772531796e4c209d4d7ba85da9b997, it should have been in 0.9.54. I believe you'll have to create a new wine prefix though. Attachment is something I wrote a couple minutes before finding this commit, register it with ``wine regedit directdraw7.reg'' and the game should run. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
