How to reproduce: Start Photoshop CS6, go to File->Browse in mini bridge. Then click on "Launch Bridge" Select a folder where you have pictures in several formats, for example PNG's and JPGs. Double click on the PNG files to open them in photoshop. Repeat the operation with any JPG file and bridge will crash. The problem is different now, no images show in either bridge or mini bridge. I can open Bridge once and close it, however the window doesn't open ever again and I can see the tray icon of bridge remain in the tray even after closing PS Mini bridge opens and closes fine, but as I mentioned, shows no images. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43693 --- Comment #5 from Christian Uceda <christianuceda(a)yahoo.com> --- @Ken Sharp Hi I tested again with Wine staging 5.7 this time creating a brand new prefix from scratch I installed photoshop as follows: WINEPREFIX=/opt/PS_CS6 WINEARCH=win32 winecfg WINEPREFIX=/opt/PS_CS6 winetricks atmlib gdiplus msxml3 msxml6 vcrun2005 vcrun2005sp1 vcrun2008 fontsmooth=rgb gecko #cd to installation dir WINEPREFIX=/opt/PS_CS6 wine Set-up.exe Installation worked fine by disconnecting from network to install 7 day trial The same behaviour as with Wine Staging 5.6 no images are being show in bridge or mini-bridge Can't install CS6 update patch from adobe Installer, complains: "you do not need this update", this happened before so I copied updated files over from Windows box.
