I installed Firefox 3.6.6, and flash is detected by default when I load a youtube video. Is there another way to reproduce this bug?
Ignore this comment, I confused my native and windows browser windows.. (oops) I installed the plugin, and when I restart Firefox and attempt to load a youtube video it freezes. I do not get the GetPlus error message like the original poster. Firefox 3.5.3 works very well in a clean prefix, FF installs the flash plugin and youtube works well.
