I have got this bug too, under warcraft 3 :

May you just fix it to not lockup everything ?
(or simply drop the sound when it happen)

kernel : 2.6.16.18mdk
wine : 0.9.14

ps : that's old bug, that whould be great to get it fixed.
ps2 : that bug happen randomly, some time the game crash after only 10min each 
time, sometime it don't crash at all for hour...
