The +event channel will log a ButtonPress and a later ButtonRelease line for each click you make in a Wine window. Then I clicked with RMB on drawing area and LMB on QuickCalc from menu. Could you get a +event,+gdiplus log and mark the point where you selected this option?

It looks like the CreateDIBSection thing is probably not the cause of this problem, but we should still avoid creating 48-bit DIB's. I didn't see anything else suspicious.
