It does not seem the author has sent the patch to the patches mailing list. However there is a similar patch in the mailing list which should also fix it. But it seems that it requires more work: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2009-July/076135.html Patching the wine tree is described here. http://wiki.winehq.org/Patching Then you have to recompile it. What did you insert into your /etc/apt/sources.list ? Just insert "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/c-korn/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main " and run: sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 40130828 Then run: sudo apt-get update
The key import was successful now when I ran: sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 40130828 Now its time to replace my current wine with your patched compiled one and keep my fingers crossed. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19365 --- Comment #40 from Stefan Dösinger <stefandoesinger(a)gmx.at> 2009-09-20 12:23:27 --- Because the last patch had some flaws. The scissor rect shouldn't be set in the update stateblock, but instead in the primary stateblock. However, if we do that we break d3d7. So the d3d7 client lib needs some fixes first before we can implement the setrendertarget behavior properly. That said, the difference is rather academic, and we're updating the viewport in the wrong way since a while, so I don't expect the scissor rect to break anything(especially since d3d7 doesn't support scissor rects). However, too often we had to find out that tiny problems break games, so we want to do things right. I am working on an updated patch - but that needs some other cleanups in the way we handle d3d7-d3d8-d3d9-d3d10 differences first. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
