https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48558 --- Comment #1 from nbacquia(a)gmail.com --- When first installed for purposes of testing, Bibleworks 10 worked perfectly on the same system but with the standard latest Wine-stable package on Cinnamon Tricia's Software Manager. However, upon re-installation, Bibleworks 10 would no longer open and the first, opening activation window would not appear. I changed wine-stable to wine-development, as required by the bug report rules, which has made things worse, as installation now could not even start. I am a complete noob at Linux, only just attracted by the wonders of Cinnamon and seriously considering altogether ditching Windows 10, but for this bug. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48558 --- Comment #3 from nbacquia(a)gmail.com --- Sorry, I'm starting to think this is not a bug but me being stupid. I have managed to have the Bibleworks initial installation window stop being transparent by turning off the transparency feature of the terminal window. Now I see that the Bibleworks installation window is running the graphic counter (blue bars). It is taking so very long to advance from a third through, however, so I'm not sure if it's hung or just taking its normal time. For now, however, I'm tend to think the transparency thing is not a bug. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Ok, did you manage to install it then? If so, could you please resolve the bug as invalid? Thanks in advance for reporting back -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
