Why is this bug still unconfirmed? I can confirm this as I have the same problem. I want to play this game so badly.
Because before your post nobody else reported the issue, so now we know there are 2 people affected. Since the bug is about DX11 this is certainly a problem. Since the bug happens without CSMT too I guess it should be moved to Wine product but I'll leave that to others to decide. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I generally refrain from writing when I think it could be useless but this game is a huge priority to me :p. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Since the bug happens without CSMT too I guess it should be moved to Wine product but I'll leave that to others to decide. It makes it a bit more likely that the issue happens without staging as well, but I think staging is carrying other d3d patches as well.

I last tested DS2 on vanilla wine 2.1, it crashes at launch on a null pointer. I could try selectively applying patchsets to see what changes. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

The wine error log I posted should be enough to give devs a hint. You can go ahead and post yours, too. Be patient, dx11 still has a long way to go. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
