[Bug 8870] Outlook 2003 Can't Open Signed Messages

I've sent some patches that should get the app a tiny bit further:

I suspect this will only get it to fail in a different spot, either because the
earlier hack is missing, or because it wants to verify the message signature. 
In either case, I'd appreciate a +crypt trace with these patches applied.
