[Bug 23712] New: Rollercoaster tycoon not working

Wine does not display any error messages so used strace to find out what wine is actually doing. Upon further inspection I found the filename in the log and the filename in the directory to be the same except for the capitalization. Specifically, the game searched for it in all caps, when the filename was created with the first letter capitalized and the remaining not. I also installed the RCTAA-GE.exe patch. The behavior is the same as described above: the game starts up to the menu, but then choosing a scenario, there is a short screen flicker and it drops back to the menu. I experienced the same problems as described on a real Windows 7 system. I now got the US version of RollerCoaster Tycoon with both Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes and this one works just fine with wine.
