Yes, I upgraded to 1.1.40.  I had to reboot.  It seems an old version of
wineserver was running in the background.  I had trouble finding the process
number in top so I just rebooted.  

Also the vcrun2008 seems to load now without complaint, although the mvrv90.dll
and some others are still missing from system32 folder.

Studio 4 now starts, but crashes immediately when I select the avr simulator as
the simulation device for a new project.  I've done this three times.
