Crash happens after load of msvcrt:
fixme:msvcrt:msvcrt_get_flags :unknown flag c not supported

I tried adding some flags to msvcrt and also using native msvcrt to no avail. 
The problem must lie elsewhere.  Will attach debug file soon.
