https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36826 --- Comment #2 from Gethyn ThomasQuail <xylem2020(a)gmail.com> --- Video: http://youtu.be/wNKbjnhGFoc Programs: Steam and Half-Life 1.1.1.0 WindowMaker version: 0.95.5 Video Notes: Steam moves by just moving the cursor in and out of the program frame, could be related to VGUI but VGUI behavies different under Wine than the native client. Half-Life has the same moving window issue but happens after going to the menu and back to the game. I keep doing it over and over in the video to show how it can get very annoying over time. I also show how Wine and WM interact when I check off Wine to use the window manager. As you can see, it is an awful experience (no alt tab, windows always on top, etc). I do not believe this to be a bug with WindowMaker as literally no other program suffers from this. Only applications running through Wine have this issue. I've also heard of this bug happening on fvwm, so this too would lead to me to believe it's an issue with Wine itself. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36826 --- Comment #3 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.51 or newer) wine? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Sounds upstream bug to me. Can you test against 1.8 or 1.9 series of wine or wine-staging? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
