The installer for this application fails to launch (see attached error log). I attached screenshot of how it fails for me. This is a duplicate of bug 40613 @Reporter: try this: cd into the directory where the installer resides and do: /opt/wine-staging/bin/wine runas /trustlevel:0x20000 Install\ Republic\ Anywhere.exe Also, make sure you have .net preinstalled e.g. winetricks dotnet452 The login-windows comes-up fine after doing this. This bug is resolved as a duplicate. @Reporter again: The app got apparently bumped to a new version: I got sha256sum ~/Downloads/Install\ Republic\ Anywhere.exe 34a893678e61b16860a36102a7e29cafade30adb0ad6b50f93a758a97b42325f /home/louis/Downloads/Install Republic Anywhere.exe I`m assuming the older version also had the same bug, but please feel free to reopen this bugreport if the above recipe doesn`t work for the older version (i don`t think so because i have the same console-output as you) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
