There are several other existing MS Money bugs, including the crash on menu/open. Reusing issues for different reasons, potentially duplicating others, shall be avoided. OP's crash is in wininet component. Unfortunately no specific instructions were provided ("click menu X", "wait for Y"). I can't reproduce it with old Wine 1.9.x releases just by running it. Wininet is definitely being used in startup phase to contact external sites (msn.com, ...).
