There are not settings (in the game) that change the outcome of the shadows not rendering correctly. In addition, this was checked using several different GPUs and CPUs to rule-out possible hardware (AMD CPU vs Intel CPU and AMD 7970/AMD R270m). This game uses the Dreamworld engine which is also used in "Age of Conan." The attachment shows an in-game screenshot of the shadow rendering. This is my first bug report here. Staging has more changes than just CSMT. It's not clear to me if you did already try with plain Wine, can you confirm that it's broken for you in the same way there? There are some documented cases of this going back about a year or more but I reported the very latest version since that's what I tested with. Please let me know if any logs or more screen shots will help.
