http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15170 Summary: Word pro can not find screen extents in windowed mode Product: Wine Version: 1.1.3 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: ToddAndMargo(a)verizon.net Hi All, Lotus Word Pro 9.8.0208.1300, when switched from full screen mode to windowed mode (the two boxes between the underscore and the "X" in the upper right corner): 1) runs off the bottom and the right of the screen. 2) you can not get the double diagonal arrows on the upper left of the windows to size it as it is too far to the upper left. You can size it by moving the window down by dragging the upper bar to the lower right, then you can catch the double sizing arrows on the upper left. What window manager are you using? XFce 4.4.2 gdm-2.16.0-46
Does the same thing happen in Windows? No. XP-Pro Both SP2 & 3

And, the problem is reproducible in all (windows) programs that start maximized. Also, the lower right problem went away in XFce after rebooting to clear out Metacity.
