[Bug 11270] New: DB-Library network communications layer not loaded

Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: rodrigovdr(a)gmail.com I have here a app called CPJWCS, it's a client/server app that needs communication with remote databases over TCP/IP. It was written on Delphi and uses BDE to handle DB Access. Wine report me to install Wine Gecko, I did that. I also have successfully installed the app and the BDE with Wine, but in the time to load the app, it returned an General SQL error and cannot access the remote DB. Then I have installed the unixODBC and FreeTDS, but the app didn't run. I guess that the problem is something by the way with Wine handle database access. What FreeTDS has anything to do with your program? What DBMS does it talk to? How is is configured to talk to DBMS via ODBC or directly? What is printed in the terminal on each step?
