http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14072 --- Comment #10 from chris ahrendt <celticht32(a)aol.com> 2008-06-29 07:58:40 --- Agreed now with 1.0 This is the same.. The previous set was different.. prior to 1.0 winedebug d3d reported no ipixel and then the application shut down.. now with 1.0 it fixed that and ends with the crash... so do I move this stack dump and subsequent data I have over to 1400? I have found that before the stack dump it fails in by setting a trace with +d3d_caps right before the stack dump which also causes the no ipixelformat error the following occurs : trace:d3d_caps:IWineD3DImpl_CheckDeviceFormat [FAILED] - Usage=0x000008 requested for CheckFormat=WINED3DFMT_P8 and RType=3 but only 00000000 is available Chris -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14072 chris ahrendt <celticht32(a)aol.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|DUPLICATE | --- Comment #11 from chris ahrendt <celticht32(a)aol.com> 2008-07-01 09:22:34 --- Further research into the stack dump to resolve this and the no pixel found bug has shown this is a different bug than 1400. If I set the windows environment to windows 98 the unhandled exception does not occur but the no ipixel format error still does. The window displayed by EQ2 is different in both cases. I think the issue is int he way win.c handles windows differently in 98 vs XP. The stack dump and backtrace under XP seems to show that the window is closed before the child window has been closed so when the context is switched back to the parent window, which is no longer there this causes the exception. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
