After the intro movies on a new windows 32 bits prefix, there is no sound. I tried some things (the game has a openal32.dll in the dir): export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="openal32=d" (game refuses to load from missing dll) export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="openal32=b" (normal no sound besides the intro movies) export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="openal32=n" (game complained that 'Sfx error' 'Couldn't create Video Stream Sound object,, OpenAL invalid ID'. I also tried to install a recent version of oalinst.exe into the prefix with no appreciable difference with these combinations. Disabled still fell over, builtin still had no sound and native still found something fishy in the interface. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39160 --- Comment #3 from paulo <i30817(a)gmail.com> --- BTW on that log, the movies have sound but the main menu doesn't. In fact, the sound volume sliders in-game don't even move. I'm wondering if sound is purposefully disabled on the latest build but youtube movies of the mod/game seem to have it. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I quess not. I did some experinece with the demo meanwhile and it crashes while starting. wine 2.0rc4 and staging 2.0rc3.
