As reported in the app database, Star Wars: Jedi Knight Dark Forces II is only playable in a virtual desktop. What is not mentioned at the time of this writing, however, is that attempting to launch JK as a full-screen app causes Ubuntu to completely reboot. Other games run fine full-screen, so there's likely a bug in Wine somewhere even if the rebooting is just a symptom. Are you actually saying you can run full-screen (virtual desktop disabled) and make the game work? Everyone in the test reports database for the game agrees that this is not possible!
