That wouldn't help, because there are actually DLLs missing. They're called "x3daudio1_*.dll", "xactengine2_*.dll", "xapofx1_*.dll" and "xaudio2_*.dll". Drakensang for example refuses to start due to the missing DLLs unless you suply the native versions. Please avoid creating feature "meta" bugs in future, instead target the specific XAudio2 component needed ("missing dll"), also mentioned the actual game. Since OP didn't provide further information which XAudio2 API is specifically needed, leaving this as dupe (which might be potentially incorrect due to split-up).
