It spams the meesage fixme:systray:wine_notify_icon unhandled tray message: 4 but doing that around 30s-1min it stops and opens a window. Don't know if my tries of getting focus on the systray has impact or would it do it anyway. Still relevant, wine 1.9.19. Bug #29412 may be related.
I just tested this bug with wine 1.9.20-git It hangs at system ray, but with the patch from bug 29412. The application behaviour changes. This is definitely a dupe.
Confirmed in wine-1.9.20-92-g1dedd90 Not quite a dupe though of 29412: the symptoms are different (systray icon shown but not responding to right click VS app not showing at all, and systray showing while it shouldn't).
