We had 2009, 2010 and now 2011 still no solution to this bug.....
Well, there was no reaction from you since you submitted the bug report. This doesn't provide much incentive to fix this very bug compared to the numerous other bugs. You didn't even provide necessary information when asked (see comment 1, sent mere hours after your submission) e.g. http://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs states: "Do check on your bug every release or two and let us know if the bug is still present." but you didn't check (or at least updated this bug report.
Think about the software,

Look at the bug title: it says "does not install".
