Creating a new prefix doesn't help much. Still the same behaviour with the patch but xrandr message is gone.

I have updated the branch at https://gitlab.winehq.org/afrantzis/wine/-/commits/winex11-settings-handler-... with one extra commit which I think should help (note: you need both this new one and the previous commit).
