https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46048 --- Comment #1 from luca.finizio.mgbx(a)hotmail.it --- News: I installed the game with PlayOnLinux and it works good! But the game doesn't work if you download it manually. I managed to play this game, but you can keep this bug open if it's valid and if you want to try to fix it :) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Double click on Neverwinter icon (on desktop) and wait for updating to complete
So please don`t start it like that, but from a terminal so you can copy and paste the console output to the bugreport. That makes it much easier for the developers to make anything useful from such a bugreport, otherwise I fear the bugreport is rather useless--> not enough info Anyway, I can confirm the crash: Just before the crash we get 0038:fixme:richedit:fnTextSrv_OnTxInplaceActivate 0x4896c38: STUB 0038:fixme:richedit:fnTextSrv_OnTxInplaceDeactivate 0x4896c38: STUB Native riched20 works around the crash (that`s i guess what playonlinux does) This report is probably a duplicate, there seem to be several reports about this but they all have slightly different consoleoutput. Maybe someone who knows more about riched20 could see if this is dupe, and resolve this -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
