Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: winebugz(a)chipsugar.plus.com CC: vitaliy(a)kievinfo.com The mouse centering patches added in wine-0.9.28 (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1410) fixed the bug that the mouse was always centered on the menu screens but in doing so limited how far the mouse could move the camera left and right during the game. Using a gamepad for camera movement works fine though but it's still a bug that can be fixed. You can get more range by increasing mouse speed, but that's just a bandaid and doesn't solve anything. Support for the mouse hack registry entries (HKCU/Software/Wine/DirectInput/{MouseHack,NoMouseCenter}) seem to have been removed from wine 0.9.59, even though they were perfect for things like this.
