[Bug 13973] New: Can't move Steam window with alt + drag
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13973 Summary: Can't move Steam window with alt + drag Product: Wine Version: 1.0.0 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: thestig(a)google.com Using KDE 3.5.7, I can move the main Steam window by dragging the title bar. However, if I try to do it by holding down the alt key and dragging the window, it would snap back to its original location when I release the mouse. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Keep in mind Steam moves itself when it goes outside the screen. The only problem I see is that dragging the Steam window with [ALT]+mouse doesn't update it's coordinates? Or is this the bug with mouse position not being synchronized between the processes? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13973 --- Comment #5 from Lei Zhang <thestig(a)google.com> 2009-02-26 18:23:37 --- With today's wine-git, KDE 3.5.10, and the latest Steam, it still happens sometimes. Alt + dragging works ok, but every so often, the main Steam window decided to snapback to where it was. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Now I can move it with alt+drag, however I get weird results when I move steam using the title bar. it "jumps" once I'm done moving it, in some cases even leaving the edge of the screen.
