During the bisect, the error seems to persist. However, eacht time, I get error messages like the one below. Sometimes in other directories (like kernel.exe16). Can you help me with how to do bisects correctly ?

The hotsync application needs to be started in its own home directory. Otherwise, the configuration files cannot be found, and the application also notes that COM2 is no longer available (apparently due to not being able to read its configuration file).
