Wine log causing Xorg crash Not Wine problem. Keep this bug to problem in d3dxof.dll

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21463 --- Comment #7 from james(a)frantech.ca 2010-01-24 23:42:14 --- It only happens when I override built in d3dxof with a native DLL. IMHO a native DLL running in Wine shouldn't cause X to crash. Either way, about half the time I can get in game and gameplay is flawless, the other times I'm returned to a console with a nice Xorg backtrace. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

If X crashes, by definition it is not a wine bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

The game works with native d3dxof but half the time you have an X crash? In that case I think it's another problem not related to d3dxof. If you use builtin d3dxof, the game does not start but what do get exactly. The game exits silently, displays a error message, ... I think it worked (I got a malformed line msg but no errors). The game currently plays the videos but at the main menu it's just a blank screen with music playing.
