For simplificity, DBI hash table shared the C structures with the TPI hash table. It turns out we can make DBI hash table faster: - by storing each bucket directly in an array (instead of single linked list) - this makes creation faster and allocation slimmer (on target example, this saves ~5% in DBI load time).
