codevisual2flowchart gui problems

Hi, When i run codevisual2flowchart using wine-20050726. There is no minimize, maximize buttons. The menus are quite big (duoble the size). It spewing out this messages fixme:imm:ImmGetContext (0x10374) STUB fixme:imm:ImmSetCompositeWindow stub I think these functions need to be implemented as most of the IME applicatations and internal imm functions use the above 2 stubbed functions. I think the problem of menu being double size is due to imm stuff. bye, Vijay

Inconsistency/bug with GetProcAddress

Found an interesting inconsistency with GetProcAddress between wine and native. On windows GetProcAddress of that's say "LoadLibraryA" exported from kernel32 always returns the same address, no matter which process it's called from. On wine it's different. That's say there are two programs app1.exe & app2.exe. app1.exe calls app2.exe (CreateProcess, etc.). Here is what I'm getting: app1.exe: GetProcAddress(mKernel32, "LoadLibraryA") returns 0x404FCBCC app2.exe: GetProcAddress(mKernel32, "LoadLibraryA") returns 0x404FFBCC I have tested this with more then two programs. All consecutive apps return same number as app2.exe. When any of this programs are ran under winedbg they all return same address as app2.exe. Running separate program doesn't change this behavior for parent-child processes. Both programs started in parallel will return the same address as app1.exe. What's more interesting, is that GetModuleHandleA("Kernel32") always returns the same handle. Is there are any reason why this is happening? Any ways to fix this? Unfortunately there are some programs that depend on address returned from GetProcAddress being the same in parent and child processes. -- Best regards, Vitaliy

Help debugging GLXUnsupportedPrivateRequest failure

I downloaded a trial version of a Japanese RPG (Vagrants from Studio e.go, at http://210.138.120.57/download/extra/vagrants_trial.exe) and tried to run it under Wine. This is a self-extracting archive, and it decompresses correctly, but when the main executable (vagrants.exe) is run, I get the following error: trace:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_ActiveRender making new buffer X Error of failed request: GLXUnsupportedPrivateRequest Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (X_GLXVendorPrivate) Serial number of failed request: 9274 Current serial number in output stream: 9276 I could pinpoint the exact location of the call that fails. The line is dlls/wined3d/device.c, line 5592, at the call to glXMakeCurrent() in IWineD3DDeviceImpl_ActiveRender. But I am at a loss a how to fix this on my own. The function aborts the program instead of returning an error, as the code intends to check, so it cannot even recover from it. From what I googled, this seems to be some missing functionality of my X server (in Fedora 4), but there is no more information on how to fix this. Could somebody explain this error in more detail, and what can I do to aid in diagnosing or fixing it? Using latest Wine CVS (at 2005/07/29). Alex Villacis Lasso
