wine and rpath

Hello all,
recently introduced rpath sets rpath to $ORIGIN
I wonder if $ORIGIN/../lib would not be more appropriate? Or is this 
something my build-system specific?
$ORIGIN just does not work to me, I really need $ORIGIN/../lib, if 
--prefix is set to non-default, non /usr value.
