What I didn't notice is that it's causing an issue with message boxes.

Start wordpad, type a few characters, File->Exit.  This should pop up
the 'do you want to save?' message box, instead I see a white rectangle
about the same size as the message box, without any frame.  If you
click where the 'no' button should be it does seem to respond and exit.
